I'm thinking I really should start writing here again. Let's face it, while I dislike verbiage, tweeting is too restrictive, and fb allows only small glimpses as well. Also it's nice and quiet here, like a country cottage, you can hear your own thoughts and the birds chirping ( Read more... )

Since Sunday 7th I've been in Beijing. I like the city, which is absurdly big and has insane traffic on its wide streets, and some miserable dwellings and beings on the narrow ones (not to mention the new monstrous sky-scrapers - in all I really prefer the narrow hutongs, which also have a homely feel, old people sitting and kids playing and a mix ( Read more... )

Teehee. Not being a feminist (I define myself more of a suffragette) sometimes I have to admit there are definitely feminine activities. Like shopping. No man I know would see any sense in wandering at random shops, trying on stuff one just might like and then not buying anything. They could not do it.
