there's no escaping...

It's haunting me. I thought I'd be able to get away from it by crossing the frickin' ocean...

Band Aid 20's 'Do They Know It's Christmas?' just came on CD101 -- the local 'cool music' station that I'd expected more of. I thought you had higher standards, Andyman!

Feeeeed the wuuuu-uuurld...

*flails!* Dude! Why am I ridiculous? I should have realized this earlier. Welcome back!

I drove up to Kenyon with a friend of mine on Thursday, and my CD player refused to work, so we were reduced to the radio. Musically, it is a barren wasteland, riddled with fire and ash. The very Christmas stations you get stuck on are a poisonous fume! We managed to find one or two highly excellent oldies stations, but it was a hard haul once we'd lose the signal.

Dude! Possibly because I've been meaning to e-mail you every day since I got back. And because I sent a postcard last week...to your Chicago address. (My bad.) Road trip to Columbus? I've got more days off than I'd expected -- drop me an e-mail and let me know.

they only played that because that was the auction weekend where people would have to donate money for each song. some poor shmuck probably played that for twenty bucks, just for the joy of hearing crappy music on cd101. earlier in the auction i heard brittney spears play for like 50/ not andy man's fault.

well, not totally

I still blame Andyman -- mostly because he went on to discuss the merits of the new version of the song (because the world needs two versions of the same crappy song, obviously). For five minutes. Argh.

The only fun thing about it is that I can name almost every vocalist as they chime in. See what I learned this semester?
