Dragon*Con 2012 Pond Paradox Photoshoot
Hello everyone!
I know this post is going up pretty early, but it looks like preparations for Dragon*Con is starting to go into Serious Mode for some people, and I myself am participating in so many groups that the sooner I get a time for some of them locked down, the better. So here it is: the Dragon*Con 2012 Pond Paradox photoshoot sign-up list!
Our photographer is once again going to be animechicky2040, who did the shoot last year. She just opened up sign-ups for D*C today and we're tentatively penciled in for 6pm Friday night, about the same time as last year too. She's made some changes in her rules and costs, which are as follows: $30 flat rate for up to three people (I'll be covering that cost) and then $5 for each additional person. Christa and I talked it over and with a group as large as this it looks like the best option is to combine it into a lump sum and then divide it equally; so going off how many we had participate last year (18), the cost will come out to around $5.50 per person. We'll talk more about payment closer to con when we have a better count on the number of girls coming, but the shoot has to be paid for by August 11th. Just something to keep in mind.
So here's how the shoot goes:
- One Amy per costume, like last year.
- Costume signups are first-come, first-serve. If you see that a costume has already been taken and it's either the only one you have or you really, really, really want to do it, please take it up with the Amy who is signed up for that costume. Just DON'T expect the other Amy to defer; it may be the only costume she has, or her best.
- Please try to be respectful of one another, if you end up having to negotiate with another Amy. I will not tolerate any name-calling, meanness, or harassment; please come to either me if you have any problems you can't settle between yourselves. If I catch wind of any negativity I will investigate, with the worst case scenario of the person starting the negativity being uninvited to the shoot. I know this sounds harsh and I don't expect this to happen, but I just wanted to throw it out there to keep lines of communication open. I want this to be fun for everyone!

Just remember that the purpose of this shoot is to get as many different Amys together as possible, have fun, and get some fabulous pictures of ourselves in costume. I'm very open to suggestions, feedback, and discussion in order to have it be fun for everyone!
