Figured I'd just slip in a quick recommendation for one of my all-time, best beloved stories.

Koko wa Greenwood was written/illustrated by the genius mangaka, Nasu Yukie.  And, now, it has its own live-action series!   If you're looking around for something a little different, you might want to give this a try.

I just saw a posting that you made on tokudane. At least I hope it was you. >.<

If you are looking for ways to make your media player work with all different types of video files try CCC (Combined Community Codecs). CCC is probably one of the best out there for all different files. Here's the link to it if you are interested.

I didn't know how else to send you a message, I'm still kind of new to this whole live journal thing. XP

Thanks for the info! Yes, I did post something on tokudane about playing the Anique Bakery episodes in .mkv format.

You're right about the high quality of CCC, and I already have them, which makes my troubles with .mkv even more baffling.

But I truly appreciate the effort you made to find me and give me the link. I agree that live journal can be confusing. I've only been on it a short time, myself, and I have regular fits with it!

Thanks a bunch!! ^_^

It's subbed officially so not sure why unsubbed are going around. But yay Greenwood! Finally got to read the details of it in English. Man, some of the stuff is still so true. Crazy fangirls and I understand the crazy rich controlling family thing better. Of course we teased that we wanted Shinobu and Mitsuru to kiss but was also glad they didn't. Ruins a lot of series I think. Leave it to fangirls, no need to have it official. Just teasing is fine. Also thought they acted more like men than the guys in schools forced to fit a mold.

And btw, thanks. I'd thank you with Greenwood radio dramas but mine are in cassette tape format.

Yay! Another Greenwood fan!! ^_^

It's subbed officially? I knew the anime was subbed, but I haven't seen the live action TV subbed officially. The only subs I've seen have been fansubs, and those only go up to the first six episodes or so.

I bought the box set DVDs in unsubbed Japanese, just to support the show & the actors! I love Greenwood!!
