Ellipsis Cosplay won Best Novice in the Sakuracon Costume Contest this year. ♥

You know what that means, don't you? More fuel for my obsession with cosplay. Here's a preview pic so I don't inundate all y'all with cosplay photo porn. Hot, hot, cosplay porn of the non-explicit variety.

Thank you~

♥ I have been like, the worst friend ever during this bullshit and madness, ever since it started last semester. It's been an exciting whirlwind to feel my cosplay "career" (can you call it that?) picking up in the aftermath, but now I am realizing how much I've missed out on and am determined to fix it as much as I can. ♥

BUT I AM STILL RIDING THE HIGH. Lololol, hard to get past how crazy it is to be back from the con and be a square again. **sigh**

Look at this fucking cosplay uke~ ^_- ♥

Yes, and I'm sure I was The Graetsest Seme Evar!!!!! during the Summer of Overtime last year. (I'm rich now, though. Result!) You haven't missed much, other than that I got fixed last month. (Well, I had the procedure. We won't have the confirmation test for another couple months, but the doctor who fixed me said that everything looked good and she has a fuckton of experience, which is why I chose her.)

You're not a square, silliest of seahorses. You're a heart! ♥

ALSO: I LOVE YOU. ♥ ♥ ♥

Well, that is what cosplayers want: people to look at them. What attention whores. XDXD

Hey, it paid off. Literally. No one can fault you; I love money as much as (or prolly more than) the next person.

I did see that in your journal, but felt too late to the party to comment and say my huzzah for you. ^^6 I'm seriously stoked for you that the fixing process went smoothly and is continuing to do so. I doubt you'll have anything out of sorts. If the doctor is/was good and you feel confident, that counts for something. I bet it's a relief.

This is true...then I'm a very nerdy heart, or I have one.

Why, this may come as a shock to you, but I love you too! ♥

HOW DID I NOT SEE YOU GUYS? You look amazing! And congrats on the victory!

I'm such a lazy cosplayer. I mean, Sheryl came out pretty well and I had fun with the pink wig, but female characters are way too much work. Next year, I'm crossplaying.

We were always running around to competition meetings and/or getting stuck posing awkwardly in front of elevators (no joke, con security probably wanted to murder us for that)...it's no surprise I didn't get to see anyone I would have liked to run into at Sakura this year. I was always on the move and I bet you were too! ^^6

Female characters are hard work, but the male characters I've considered cosplaying all involve armor, which I actually hate making and consider too complex.

Who would you want to crossplay? :D I think it's fun to be not just another person, but outwardly another gender for a weekend.

Con security were kind of scary, I'm glad you escaped with your lives! But, honestly, I spent most of Saturday night in a hotel room drinking cheap alcohol, so my priorities were not very con-oriented this time around.

Since the only anime series I've both watched and liked in about a million years (okay, more like three) is Baccano!, I'm thinking it'd be pretty fun to be a Prohibition era gangster for a few days. Rock the suit and fedora, with a wig I wouldn't have to spend a half-hour detangling at the end of the day. Hells yes.

They were mildly ridiculous this year. I was repeatedly getting talked to for taking pictures in front of doors I didn't know existed, in front of signs, and for not having my peacebonding visible (it kept falling off). Really annoying. I've never experienced anything like it ( ... )
