Today went really well. Our baby boy looks fantastic, nothing wrong with the heart, kidneys or measurements. So, we decided to forgo the AFP testing. They'll be keeping an eye on him and his size, since small birth is the most likely effect of his single umbilical artery. She also had to tell me that it slightly elevates our risk of losing him

Thanks, Jan! It is such a relief to us. I feel like I can finally relax and enjoy this pregnancy. I have been so stressed out about it, I haven't let myself even feel like I am pregnant, in case something went wrong.
