Mas tipo, a Joanna é completamente diferente das menininhas que eu ouço, mas ela parece com as *bandas* -- Decemberists, Castanets, etc. Espero que vc goste, tem gente que não consegue superar a voz dela. :)

I'm surprised I haven't seen more people talking about Sanctuary - it feels like fans have been clamoring for an internet-distributed sci-fi show for years, and now somebody's making one, and I don't think fandom has actually noticed this yet. Although I trust that all the David Hewlett fans will check out the pilot (he's in the pilot, right?) if nothing else.

And yeah, Amanda looks awesome. Please, please, please let the writing not suck!

Yeah, the lack of fan reaction is odd. But I suppose once it premieres people will take a more direct interest. I'm not sure DH will be in the first ep -- they shot a total of 2 hours that will be broadcast in eight 15-minutes episodes, but I have no idea when his character show up.

And it might be just wishful thinking on my part, but I'm really optimistic about the writing -- I love pretty much everything Kindler wrote for both SG1 and SGA, so I'm hoping the pattern holds. :)

YAY EXCITEMENT! I really hope the first wave of episodes kick-off well so they can produce more. The world they created looks so pretty and complicated and awesome. I have high hopes for the writing... probably too high, even, but I'm too excited to try and calm myself down. Hee.

Speaking of SG-1...I was watching the most recent episode of 24 when I started wondering when our man Daniel Jackson, er, Michael Shanks was going to start appearing on it. It took several minutes of staring at Kari Matchett make out with an unknown guy before I realized that I was staring right at Michael Shanks. He looked so different I didn't recognize him!

Oh, his episodes are airing already? I've never seen 24 [not interested in the format], but I admit I'm curious about seeing MS in a different role.

Amanda looks AMAZING. I love it that they managed to find a completely different look for her and yet she's still recognizable. :)
