Aw~ this was a cute chapter. And also a funny one! I loved Hideto frequently face-palming and the whole part with Gackt <3

Until now you're not moving too fast. You described that Hideto enjoys Gackt's presence because he doesn't lie or wears a mask. And they've been together for two days after all. I two days you can start liking someone :3 Just take care that you don't let Hideto fall in love too fast.
The love thing could be problematic anyway. Hideto's gay or at least bisexual (as far as I understand), but Gackt comes from a videogame that most likely set in a former age. I guess he won't accept loving a man that easily.

And another thing I wonder about:
he had learned that he would most likely never return to his homeland.
What if he'll return? I watched Kate&Leopold and read Zettai Kareshi and at both of them one of the lovers leaves ._.

Mhm, that's true, but G'll learn more about homosexuality and whatnot. And since he's from a video game, I doubt he's had much to do with relationships so he's not entirely straight either. :P

From Gackt's POV, there's no way out atm, is what I meant. And d'aw, if he returned back to Uthonia, it'd be kinda sad. He's just another video game character with no feelings or thoughts, just being controlled by the gamer.

I hope this fic has a longer chapter than Thin Line though :D ♥

It's a bit longer than Thin Line but it still won't be as long as Scattered Petals, though, lol. Maybe seven or eight chapters though. ♥

Ooh, I quite like this chapter. It might not be as "fun" and lulzy as previous chapters, but I love it all the same, with the development of Hideto and Gackt's relationship. I also like the little things you add in, was he just going to drug his drink like the last guy had done? that help flesh Hideto out as a character.

Honestly, I don't think you're moving too fast. :D Right now it's just Hideto finding a sense of comfort in Gackt, when he can let down his barriers a little, plus that little strange feeling. I think as long as you draw out the "strange feeling" part a bit (or a lot, I love it when a bunch of epic shit happens before the couple actually gets together |D), then imo you're good to go!

Both things made Hideto facepalm repeatedly.
I laughed out loud again at the mental image, idk.

Hideto's another complex character so there's much more to him than what meets the eye. I'm considering making him have some slight mental problems but the fic's already been planned out so it prolly ain't gonna happy unless I can fit in it. ♥

Thank god. My biggest problem is that I always rush (can you blame me? The fangirl in me just wants them to start making out already) so I'm glad I ain't! ;D

Haha, Gackt's obsessions were my own obsessions when I was young. I would just stand at the kitchen counter and stare at the microwave as it did its magic. :P
