affirmative action = reverse discrimination.

who do you want going to med school to be your surgeon, the candidate who earned the right to be there regardless of their race, or the candidate who got in because they were an underrepresented minority?

There are affluent minorities in this country, how about we improve financial aid for those at a socioeconomic disadvantage. I have more in common with a minority student from a suburb than i do with a poor inner city white kid.

You can't save the world by giving a few people from the inner city a chance to move to the suburbs thanks to their job and education, you save the world by fixing the inner city.

But look at the bright side of things, Democrats took over the house, most likely the senate (if not, it's 50/50) and Rumsfeld resigned. How much harder could you kick the republicans in the nuts this week?

God I Love you, I so agree don't be scared to show your opinion! And you got to be smart to get into med school,regardless if your a minority or not, And diversity is important!
