Just come away from another weekend with NZLarps - Multiverse. The fantastic weekend included highlight like running around smacking people with swords, causing one person to have his soul ripped out by a Chaos champion just because he was there at the time, and having Vanya's 21st. BattleCry 2008
BattleCry is coming up!
The America Club is hosting its yearly gaming convention "BattleCry" again at the Freeman’s Bay Convention Centre, with tournaments for role playing, card gaming and war gaming.

Lan was fantastic. We didn't partake in much leeching, nor FPS. But much enjoyed by all. Friday and Saturday was filled with five true geeks and food. Sunday and Monday were action packed two rooms of gamers. Our flat is looking at gaming at some stage. Pumped
I love coming back from a game pumped - full of ideas, having fun with mates in competitive/ cooperative epic RP gaming. Getting hints about Season Three ideas - things I almost played through with another gaming group years ago (Klint etc).

Just come back from "300" with saturday gaming crowd - blown away. Particularly liked how the style of fighting was highlighted in several scenes, and how each of the main characters got screentime showing off a slightly different fighting technique; ideas are going straight into feating up battle descriptions soon! I am organizing people to see Black Sheep on Friday for 920p session at Queen St Village - interested at all? I will be at O'Hagans for my workmates/ Kung Fu teacher's last day at work before then too - post back and I will arrange tickets tonight.
