Love the V shaped boning channels. I might try those on the next stays I make...

That dress is bonkers. The kind of bonkers I love, of course. In the same style as the one that the GMNT called a sofa when he was little - 'Mummy, why is that lady wearing a sofa?'

Hmm. You know, I boned the tabs on my stays like that, and they don't sit that smoothly on my hips. (They stick out at right angles.) Not to co-opt your post, but do you think the issue is that I cut the boning just a little too short there, maybe?

I'm not sure, but it might be that they are too short. I have never thought about it, but most of the bones in the tabs extend a little above the waistline.
