Life always gets in front of my writing. I sneak patches and then get swept away by stuff and when I return things seem flat. Does that happen to anyone else? -

Imaginary lines and protocols,
A stern look under the official cap,
You don't belong on this side.
You take a step back,
A custom officer relaxes enough
And turns his back.
You unzip your pants and aim,
And he shall always remember the stain. -

Now I think I'm going to reread my YAME drabbles because if I read the short stories I'm probably going to edit them and it's getting late.
