Mischief in the Machine

Yeah. That thing about being impressed by how I actually *know* some of these people who can put on such a great show. You said it better than me. :)

Well-said, indeed.

I would only add that I found the story/circus performance so compelling that I forgot to watch the band for much of the show. I suspect that's part of what was intended, but the realization afterward was a bit surprising to me.

Creative Circle, I say! I'm eager to put my creative energies to good use too. I've got a big, huge draft of the invite for this _almost_ ready to send.

And Mischief in the Machine was definitely really, really amazing.

I'd vote Creative Circle as well. I find I am most creative when surrounded by creative people.

Please do. As long as it looks like I might be staying in this town, I am happily in.

You can use this id @gmail.com, that will get to me.

Also? I really want to play on a German wheel.

Me too! within a few hours of getting back home, Simon had looked up instructions for making one (or tried to; he didn't find any).

My friend says that it is pretty easy, but require strong shoulders, ankles and stomach.

It just looks like so much fun!!!

I tried Owen's, but it's sized for him and he's very tall- i could barely reach and grab the rungs, and that would make it hard to do anything but hang on for dear life. Will have to make/find a properly sized one- apparently they are mostly ordered from Germany and are thousands of dollars. P sez it might be possible to add "booster" feet and hand rungs to convert a big one for smaller people, but not sure if that would change your ability to drive it too much.

Thousands of dollars is sad.

There's a circus school about an hour away but it doesn't look like they teach German wheel. Too bad, really.
