This test is a beast. I did not get a passing mark (80%) partly because the way the questions were ordered and constructed confused me, and partly because I hold firmly to the belief that 'websites' is a word. The very last question, however, illustrates 'may' and 'might' extremely well.

When "may" is used incorrectly in fiction written in the past tense. "May" is a verb and it has conjunctions; the simple past tense equivalent is might. The only time it's appropriate is when your narrator is switching to (or commenting from) the present or future tense and the uncertainty has still not been resolved. We all mess up our tenses
