I think they're both skanky ass hoes. I hope neither of the boys gives into their skankiness, but I honestly think at least one of them will. More likely Dean because like the whole 'I'M GONNA DIE' thing.
Hmm, the story sounds interesting anyway. The old crystal skull!
I can't say the dialogue is that bad - the women sound like they are trying a little too hard. I seriously doubt that's the way to seduce Sammy, at least I hope not. And I'm not sure how closely Dean is gonna want to flirt with a maybe-evil chick with the future he has.
Okay, my gut reaction on reading the audition pages is that they're being set up as... adversaries. And/or foils. Counter-viewpoints to Sam and Dean. Maybe some rough-and-tumble love-and-hate going on, too.
Which, in my opinion, is good! Sam and Dean are too united now, too coordinated in their thinking, and they need an opposite view to argue against. Because they don't argue with each other anymore, not on the big issues.
I wouldn't mind them as adversaries and such (like Gordon was), so long as they stay that way. I really don't want to see either of our boys hook up with one of these women, what with the way they're reading.
I don't see anything wrong with the way they're reading. They're reading as equals, with their own viewpoints. If they were guys, and the script was word-for-word the same, would you still have a problem with them?
As regular characters, yeah. I'm not interested in major screentime for others, I'm invested for Sam and Dean. It's the attitude, the conceit, the rigidity, they display that is off-putting. In fact, everything that I disliked in Gordon (which may be Kripke's master plan if, in deed, these characters were a CW directive).
I don't know...I kind of like Ruby. Because she likes a Badass!Sam. XD I'm not so sure about Bela; I hate it when girls act tough because half the time, girly, you're going to get your ass kicked. Preferably by Dean.
I'm going to agree with Lyra, though, and say that these girls seem to be just temporary, but recurring, characters who are just going to shake some things up.

I still live in hope.

Positive thinking, Dragyn!

I can take it if goes that way and shades of romance don't enter into it. If I wanted soapy love stories, I'd watch One Tree Hill.
But I'm so bad at it! :(
