Restaurants, anyone?

Can anyone recommend good restaurants in Shangri-la, Greenhills, Eastwood or The Podium? I'm looking for restaurants that open at 11:00 a.m. and serve lunch. I like Japanese food, Italian food, Chinese food and grilled meat but I'm open to other recommendations. I'm asking because my family will be having a lunch celebration on my birthday this

Yay! Thanks, Migo! :-D We don't get to eat in middle- to high-end restaurants very often so I could use as many recommendations as I can get.

Green Tomato isn't so high end naman... their ice cream/gelato rocks! LOL this comment is biased because I know the supplier. *snicker* And I think there's a Good Earth in Metrowalk.

You could also try Brazil Brazil for BBQ (pero mapupurga ka sa karne :P), Gloria Maris in Greenhills (which is a classic), the good Jap restaurants I know are in Makati. Italian could be Cibo, which to me is better than Italiannis.

Thank you, Wesh! ^___^ I've decided that we'll eat at Gloria Maris. It has something for everyone in the family. Alas for me, my folks aren't too adventurous so it would be best to stick to a restaurant we're all familiar with. :) But I'll definitely consider all suggestions for future dates.
