It's raining, it's pouring...

Football training went well last night. I had 21 of my 25 players there and I knew exactly where my missing four were. The boys are so eager to get back into training that there wasn’t a single incident of silly behavior *yay* I must say, it was good to see them again! Some of them (my own son included) have grown so much since the end of last ( Read more... )

Everything seems to be back to normal (almost) with your football team. Hopefully with the new coach arriving soon, they'll be no more dramas from here on out! :D

Wow! that's one pretty expensive trailer -- but with new equipment comes newer opportunities for your business! hopefully you'll be able to get back the amount spent in no time *fingers cross that the economy gets better ASAP*

PS: have you received already the Valentine's Day cards I sent you?? I'm worried that even the post office is affected by the recession (some of the ones I sent in the US got delayed because of this)...

It'd be nice to think there'd be no more dramas, but I'm not holding my breath ;)

Not really. All this means is we have our own trailer and don't have to hire one (which wasn't terribly expensive anyway).

Yes, I did! Sorry, I think they arrived on a day when the world was imploding. Thank you :)

that's the beauty about sports -- there's always tons of drama, good & bad! would you still be able to get back your 4 other boys who aren't in your team now?

it'll save you more money in the end if you have your own trailer, methinks.

I'm glad you got the cards. I saw them at the local bookstore & thought I'd send some to you and your family. :D

The four who weren't at training are in the team, they were just absent from training.

It's going to take a lot to make that money up and have the trailer start earning actual dollars, but hopefully it will. Basically, it'll just be less hassle to have our own and not be reliant on other companies.

They were lovely *hugs*

I'm glad the weather has got a bit cooler for you. I thing it's fast changes in temperature that confuse our bodies. Today, it's about 7 degrees C. and we think it's farly mild. I took Aiden to school without a coat this morning. I did have a fleece on though.

It definitely confuses our bodies! We're really feeling the cold, but by mid winter these days will be deemed warmish ;) We have a way to go until we get to that stage... we're warming up again as of tomorrow!

Sounds like y'all have a good deal going. I hope it all works out with the trailer fixing up.

Back & forth weather is crazy. We finally got some more snow. I have been right beside myself. :D

The trailer... Well, it's getting fixed, so it can start working for us and paying us back!

The weather is insane! I honestly don't know what's going on most days - we start off frosty and end up stinking hot as the sun is going down *shakes head*
