So, about a month ago my old pharmacy went out of business. Supposedly not a big deal, since they said they transferred all our scripts to the place down the street. Due to family issues with Crazy Uncle Bob, by the time I realized I was almost out of one of my prescriptions it was three days till they were out. Now, it wasn't one of the meds that ( Read more... )

Holy shit, that's insane! When my Mom first put me on BC at 15, overnight I turned into a psychotic monster. I don't remember that, but apparently my moods were all over the place. They eventually got me onto a lower dosage, and it was better after that. I haven't actually been on BC since my early 20's though, mostly because I can't actually physically have kids, so what's the point. Especially since it only really helped me by reducing my cramping, and even that calmed down by my mid 20's. I never realized how lucky I was. I hope you can get the right dose again. Hopefully it was just a mix-up and not because your brand has been discontinued. :( *hugs, tea and cookies*

Oh, man, I hope it hasn't been discontinued. It took me almost six months to find a brand that kept me pretty sane. *takes the tea and cookies and runnnnnnns*

JFC. I take bc for menopause symptoms (and I was bleeding every fucking two weeks), and I've had to change pills three times due to them not being strong enough. I'm currently on Yazmin so I'm hoping it will do the trick.

I hope you can get this shit straightened out! I've only had one migraine in my life, and I don't wish them on my worst enemy. Sorry, honey. *hugs and tea*

I have a history of migraines in my family, so I'm not completely set on blaming the new BC for this one. However, I have started keeping a list of the side effects, and I'll be tracking my headaches much more carefully, for sure. I was on Yazmin for a while, but it was one of the ones that actually gave me migraines, so that had to go. I really hope this is just a hiccup and I can get this all straightened out. I call BS! Such BS! Do not want manic mood swings! (unless they're caused by massive sugar overdoses. Then I'll accept them. But not before!!!)
