I did a bit more economic stimulus on my way home last night. Based on the new arrangement of the first floor, and agreement by ealdthryth, I have started acquiring more things to complete our home furnishings. The last set of curtains for the first floor have been purchased, and I dug out a decorative curtain rod from the hoard of stuff in the woodshop.

Hmmm. The curves on the mantle top and the front feet match the feet on our entertainment center. If it is a cinnamon stain, it would go well with what we have. The size might be a bit of a problem, though. I'm not sure where we could put something that massive without it looking a little out of place.

You just don't like change! :-) I think the new arrangement is much better. The sitting room is warmer and cozier for TV watching. The cats seem content with the new location of the couch.

I would love to have an exercise room, but can change that plan if necessary. :-)

I am reserving judgement until after the Christmas decorations have been put away. In the interim, the re-cluttering of the house has gotten on my nerves. I can deal with it as long as I see progress towards re-de-cluttering.
