this was SO well done. Layers of angst and almost angst and most importantly, love hidden underneath.

This bit So they slept together, in a tangle of warm, exhaustion-heavy limbs, and Jack let the familiarity of this room, this house, this life, this man, sink back down into his bones. They stayed there, until Daniel stopped feeling wrong. --stuck with me the most. Just beautiful.

Interesting indeed. You moved on a good bit later than I did, because I am still mostly at the point of flailing and sticking my fingers in my ears and saying "lalalala I can't hear you" about Seasons 9 and 10. But we both felt the need for some of the very same emotional beats.
