Lets face it. Photoshop is expensive. And for people who just want to play sims & post their stories, its rather a bit of overkill.

There are a couple of free alternatives, & paint.net is one of them.

A couple of people have commented on the images in my stories about my graphics & how do my ingame shots look so good.

For starters, I don't use the ingame camera. I use a free, downloadable program called Irfanview, & I've configured it to capture & save an image where I choose with a single button press.

Last night I was happy as a pig in.... [cough] um... I was happy due to the release of SimPE for Apartment Life. I was just about to install it on my big machine & install my story 'hoods when I remembered I will need the CEP by Numenor before I can play with the required downloads folder for those saves.

Yes I'm still around, though my vision seems to be getting back to normal so I've been working on my photo processing like a mad creature. I'm going to try catch up with the friends list... when I'm not getting lost in ancient temples.... or working on one of my print books ( Read more... )

The Pixel_trade community is all about sharing sims that its members have either created or bred in game. But in order to extract or package a sim, you first need to know how to do it in a way that wont create issues for someone else's game when it's installed ( Read more... )
