I loved their simple, meaningful interactions-the way Malfoy just said "Well," when he saw Harry at the mtg; the scene when Harry was drunk and Malfoy grabbed him by the elbow and held onto his chest-such a protective gesture and then when he held his hand in bed :(((( Awww this fic was so sweet. It was amazing to see how Malfoy's unquestioning support was just exactly what Harry needed. This was lovely, really. Well-written and so very enjoyable. I will definitely be coming back to this.

I love their not-quite-a-relationship relationship. So very them. And the issues were very well brought across and I absolutely loved when they were at Draco's flat. Loved it. And the way Draco tried to protect Harry when Dudley showed up at the meeting again, even though he would never voice that that was what he was doing. *applause*
And I very much liked Dudley's apology. I'm sure that part of his childhood weighed on him a lot. Once he realized people just didn't lock people in cupboards and starve them.

I felt it in my heart the time Harry showed up at Draco's place. But you handled it so well. I was afraid Draco was going to be mad at him, made Harry feel even worse, but the way, that subtle, Malfoyish way in which he offered comfort, I loved it.
I loved the snark. I mean, it's more of a banter, really, what with
“Next time I’ll poison you,” and “I really do hate you,” and “We are not on first name basis, Potter.”
“Well, you certainly were last weekend,“.
I loved it because it felt so familiar, you know? And it added the perfect sweetness this very dramatic fic needed. Lovely work, mystery author.

I just can't have them without banter, hehe. With all that history I'm sure it's second nature to say things like that to one another, so I couldn't help myself.
