Hey, how are you all doing? I'm having some time off work (well, more or less) and finally finding the time to post some things to LJ. Starting with the shoebox diorama of Buffy and Spike's bedroom that I made for the Summer Solstice free-for-all over at seasonal_spuffy. I don't know if everyone uses the word “diorama" but that's what my kid's teachers called it when the kids had to do one for school.

In Dutch we call it a "kijkdoos" (literally "look box") so I thought "peepbox" came closest, but that also doesn't seem to be a very common term. Maybe more British, I'm not sure? In any case it sounds a bit too much like peep show -- and even though it's a look into Buffy and Spike's bedroom, it's not as naughty as that :-) So I'm happy with "diorama".

Thank you! I had almost forgotten how much I enjoy doing "crafty" stuff, it had been so long since I last did this kind of thing.
