It's too long to bother reading, but it's not like it's a novel. Two page downs and it's completely gone. No photos posted to increase load time. Cutting it would have been polite on their part, but the half-dozen-ish people who demanded it get cut are even more ridiculous.

But I seem to be in the minority on that one, on LJ. Lotsa people seem terrified that there are a few more paragraphs than they really like to see in one place.

It is really annoying to have to scroll down two full screens, dude. Really. Annoying. A cut is easy to do and saves me the aggravation. I try to cut posts that are longer than about 3/4 screen, personally, so as not to irritate others by doing what irritates me.

Do you have to cut your pointless screed? No, of course not; I have no way of enforcing it. Is it nonetheless polite to do so? Well, I think so.

that so much detail was spent on minutea, while in the only implication of anything sexual the partner wasn't even indicated, seemed strange
