Mea Culpa

I've been criticized, and rightly so. I was unduly harsh and judgmental.

The quote itself might have been snark-worthy, but everything else I said was inappropriate.

I'm sorry.

It takes serious stones to apologize when you've been beaten down in a snark community, and even more so when the apology is mature and not being angry/mean/bitter towards those who pointed out the problem. So you're cool in my book, as if that means anything (or should, haha).

For the record, though...what you said to me about mocking your younger self? Yeah, I do that too, but I keep the mockery on myself because I know that I know better now ;) Whereas with others, it's a total tossup.

I only mock some of my younger selves. Then I feel guilty for not living up to the dreams of my other younger selves. (slinks off to be indulgently depressed for a bit).

*hugs*

It's OK.

Oh, wait, this is *snark* community. Let me try again. aHEM.

"Attention whore much?"

I kid. ask anyone. Seriously, this post was very big of you.

But! Hey! It's a snark community...that's what folks do here.. sometimes there's a misfire and not everyone agrees that someone is snark worthy. It's OK. You'll find better snark fodder another day, I'm sure--hopefully Someone most of us agree is deserving. Like me! :P

I wasn't bullied. I was criticized appropriately. Let's not overthink this.

I deleted my comment. It's not worth the potential headache.

Carry on.
