I loved this.

I really like the idea that Kate's mom was as strong a woman as Kate is but in different ways. Loved this.

Kate's mom's question scares me a little about the implications.

Kate making things fair is awesome, especially when later in life the bad-ass normal leads a team of super-powered teen heroes.
