“What kind of a name is Mastermind Excello?” Nico asked, leaning against the back of Amadeus’ mo-ped.
“I like it,” he said with a grin and a shrug as he watched his coyote pup sniff at Old Lace. “What about you, Sister Grimm?”
“I stopped calling myself that a long time ago,” Nico said. “Code names are lame.
Mastermind Excello, for example, sounds like one of those luchadors.”
“I like luchadors.”
“So-”
“I’ve fixed up the Leapfrog’s scramblers so they’ll work without someone having to tell them to,” Amadeus said,” and any day now SHIELD is gonna notice that their files on you guys now contains nothing but singing hamsters.”
He grinned. “And Molly’s hat.”
“Thanks.”
“Always happy to play knight in shining armor,” Amadeus said, scooping up the coyote cub and tucking it into his jacket. “Screwing with Stark is just a bonus.” He started up the mo-ped and planted a very quick kiss on Nico’s lips, driving away before Victor could zap him.
