Nico let out a sleepy yawn, brushing her fingers through Victor’s thick brown hair. He grunted in his sleep and shifted, his lips brushing her collar bone. She smiled softly, pushing all thoughts of everything but this moment from her mind.
She could worry about keeping them all alive later. She could worry about keeping L.A. safe from people who wanted to take the Pride’s place later.
Right now, Victor was waking up and planting sleepy kisses on her neck, and her legs were tangled up with his, and right now it was all perfect.
