This journal is pretty much dead. I don't really use it anymore to post anything. I'm mostly over on Facebook, lurking and such. That is not to say that I do not visit LJ daily, but I'm usually reading my flist and commenting on other peoples' stuff rather than posting anything here. -

So I seem to be mostly over the bout of food poisoning I have been dealing with for the past 40-odd hours, and I've been well enough to finish the last piece of art for my D*Con jury submission ( Read more... ) -

This post on DA pretty much sums up why I haven't been saying much. :B I've been busting my behind on pieces to submit for the jury process. It's been very good for me to be so productive. I don't think I've finished this much art in such a short time in years. -

I'm still alive and kicking. Life is pretty decent all things considered. Not to say that there aren't annoyances or frustrations, but I spend a lot of time reflecting on how very good my life is overall. It's really nice. -

Yesterday was one of those days that reminded me why life is worth living. :3 Which makes it sound like I was suicidal before, but I'm really not. Life is good and I've been enjoying it for the most part. But yesterday was EXCEPTIONALLY good and the kind of day that makes one feel all warm and fuzzy toward the whole world. -

Made it through the week. Got paid the largest pay check I've ever had in my life. I think things are looking pretty good overall.
