The Nephew was sick the last few days. I called yesterday to see how he was feeling and he called me back today. He is feeling much better, though he keeps hacking up “gross stuff that my dad says I have to spit out ( Read more... )

I thought the unicorn was too big to fit in a tote? But that's a good idea, like one of those little yappy dog purses, that way it could get air and stuff and not be all cooped up and it would be easily accessible for the petting and what-not. And seriously, it's a unicorn, don't they have some sort of magic that would generate a s.e.p. (somebody else's problem)(from Douglas Adams books) field? Like a notice me not spell?

Or wait! do you mean a tote like one of those giant tupperwares? cos that would work too. Just have it lay down inside with lots of blankets and pillows so it'd be all cozy.

Obviously my brain is a strange place at 6am. I'm going to back away slowly now. Hope The Nephew feels better soon.

A yappy dog purse would be priceless! But I think even a baby unicorn is too big for that - he was shorter than the youngest kid who I think was suppose to be about 10, but still probably too big for a dog carrier. I think The Nephew meant like a storage bin - which would be good for a short term solution but a baby unicorn can't live in a storage bin. Maybe the unicorn could make itself look like something else to any outside observer? Illusion-spell himself or something.

Okay, we are taking this conversation very seriously for two grown-ass women. lol Baby Unicorn Storage = Srz Bznz.

The Nephew feels better...now my sister is sick. :(

What an awesome conversation. Show it to him a few years from now, when he can appreciate it!

The Nephew is full of awesome conversations! I have actually (morbidly) thought about what would happen if he finds my journal after I am gone (assuming I ever get around to putting it in pdf form). There are a few things I wouldn't want him to see, but all the conversations I have put up between the two of us...I think he'd love to see them someday.

That's my boy, right there! The Nephew is the best. :) There is nothing like a conversation with a 5yr old who has the imagination of a writer.
