Holy fucking hell. I am SO GLAD that the insurance finally covered your brother's stuff - any chance of a lawsuit against the surgeons for the vasectomy? Would that do any good or just make things harder for a small chance of payout?

You and your sister are pretty fucking awesome, just saying.

Holy crap, your mom has SHITTY luck. What a relief that she got into surgery so fast, though; hopefully they will not repeat the STUPID of not permitting her to stay when she needs to do so.

You know what I love? That most people were like, 'prayers and hugs, dear' and you were immediately like 'Holy Fucking Hell, let's sue!!" It made me laugh and tear up at the same time, like your special brand of caring. <3s

IDK if a lawsuit has even occurred to them. It might be one of those things where they were warned ahead of time like, "There is as small chance something could go wrong, blahblahblah." But after his recovery gets along a bit more, I do plan on bringing it up to Brother, bc they could really use the money right now and SIL had to use so many days, lose money, during his surgery and recovery, not to mention the daycare money etc.

*hugs your family* I'm glad that you've found a solution for your mother but oh your brother and sister-in-law. I'm sorry that they're being hit so hard. I'm sending lots of good thoughts your way and will send a package too, this seems like a useful time for it.

My brother has actually hit the point where he thinks SIL might have a legit nervous breakdown. But his recovery is going well, actually. He is way ahead of where they predicted he would be at this point and has even stopped his narcotics and is just taking his regular Fibro meds now. So one point in the plus column!

Thank you. It was a horrendous August for my family and September isn't shaping up much better. I always look forward to October bc of Halloween, but now I feel like October honestly can't get here soon enough!
