I wish I could share your excitement. He'll be directing, too, do you know?

I wish I could share your excitement.

I know you're not a huge Cas-fan, but I will always and forever be a Cas!girl. :) Besides, after the way TPTB took everything from Sam and Dean last season, it's nice they are giving something back to them for a change.

He'll be directing, too, do you know?

I'd heard that! Now I'm just waiting for Jared to have his turn behind the camera too!

I loved him, really. I did. Up until around S5. I'm just not getting his story line anymore, especially not in this season. And I'm honestly tired of the angels. But you know what I wish for all his fans? For Cas to have his own show, Misha would rock it. And you all could enjoy him in full force and I/we wouldn't have to. ;)

I'm just waiting for some fan to direct in S11.

I do have to say, I feel like they really haven't known what to do with Cas since the end of season five. Like, his season six storyline could have been really interesting if they had taken time to flush it out, but everything that season felt kind of all over the place to me. But even as side-tracked as his storyline has been, I find Cas to be very intriguing and fascinating to watch.

But you know what I wish for all his fans? For Cas to have his own show, Misha would rock it.

I'm actually going to say 'no' on this. (I know, I'm as shocked as you!!) Misha could carry a show but Cas could not. He's not a lead character. At least, not where he stands right now in his arc. I actually wish Misha would get a show of his own though. I'd love to see him do some other kinds of genre TV. I could get on board with that. You know, after season nine. ;)

I'm just waiting for some fan to direct in S11.

OMG. You know what? I could totally see that happening! lol

Oops. Sorry about that! Honestly, I don't think my brain even clicked on it as a spoiler! Probably because it was everywhere; Misha's twitter, Huffington Post, Zap2it, the TVGuide.com headline actually read 'Misha Collins Upped To Series Regular'. I'm going to go ahead and blame the entertainment news industry for my brain default. lol ;)

But I'm glad you're excited.

Omg, baby, you have no idea. I literally read the news at like midnight and I did not fall asleep until three am because I was so jazzed up!

Dean's face in that last gif!!! heehee

I am so fucking excited! I have a few theories on what this means for Cas' storyline, but mostly I'm just excited that I'm actually interested enough in SPN again to be coming up with theories!

I had reached that point again where I was thinking about giving it up, but you know that never sticks. Someone always talks me out of it. Now I'm actually excited for next season!

Besides that whole, "I'm a Cas!Girl" thing (and more screen time for my OTP), I think Sam and Dean are better when they have other people in their lives. It's healthy for them. (also did I mention my OTP? heehee)

Based on what I've been reading on Tumblr, ~things~ have been happening over there in SPN-writer land. Like, did you hear about Misha's appearance at a con on Sunday (or maybe Saturday) in which he was talking about the Dean/Cas relationship and mentioned that Dean actually said "I love you" in a recent episode but it was cut? *cue every Dean/Cas fan on Tumblr freaking out* I take a lot of what Misha-Mish says with a grain of salt, but he wasn't playing to the audience with this one.

I think perhaps we're seeing a real change in Dean this season. He has softened considerably, and they're writing him showing much more emotion than he ever has before. Most people think it's because they're going to make Dean bisexual. I dunno. I doubt a show like SPN could ever be that forward-thinking. But man, if they do...it would be fantastic.

Long story short, my guess is that because of all the stuff with the angel and demon tablets this season, that Cas is finally going to fall for good, and maybe give up his Grace.

I had NOT heard that! Wait, I have to go look it up and see what it says. brb Found it! Duuuuude. Okay, yes, the shipper in me was like "Fuck yes!" but the more rational side of my brain understands it was a different context coming from Dean - less 'let's make out' and more 'you're family' - but even that gets me happy because Cas means so much to Dean, he's the first real true friend we've ever seen Dean have, like not just a guy he goes out for beer but someone he actually talks to and worries over - it's just nice and I'm all stupid smiles now. Thanks for sharing that.

I take a lot of what Misha-Mish says with a grain of salt, but he wasn't playing to the audience with this one.As one should. I found the clip actually and the girl starts the question with asking him about something he said to fans at a private meet n greet and she says, "Did you actually mean that or were you just trolling those people for fun?" So at least the fans are finally ( ... )
