[The Doctor is looking very festive; he isn't wearing the sweater provided by the Admiral, but rather one he's programmed for himself. Might as well get in the spirit of this Christmas stuff.]

Greetings!

[He's not sure what time it is around here. :|]After this port and the recent incidences of the sniffles, I'd like to remind you all to stop by ( Read more... )

Some of us don't get sick, mate. Benefits of being undead.

As for your inmate, I know she doesn't think of herself as needing redemption.

If you don't get sick, then you don't have symptoms. Ergo, you're exempt from the announcement.

Is she a friend of yours?

Well, we only just met, so not really, but I like her all right.

I see.

I'm not surprised she doesn't think she needs rehabilitation; that's probably not an uncommon sentiment here.

We finally met in person. He was quite hospitable and treated me to a private concert. [Understating how happy he is about this by far.]

I have not, yet. I intend to. I have been posing the idea for a while, but from the physician himself the suggestion may have more bearing.

I was uncertain whether I should have broached the subject myself with him. However, if you think he'd be more receptive to hearing it from me, I'll offer to take a look at the damage.

As for Mr. Holmes, it looks as though your concerns were unfounded. Did you enjoy yourself?

I believe it would help if you were to get to know him. He is an intern in the infirmary because I wish for him to reach at least the competency of a late 19th century physician so that he might find an occupation should he leave.

I did. He seemed unfazed by my appearance.

Did you bring any futuristic infirmary tech with you?

I'm sure I can ask the Admiral for anything, should the need arise. Why do you ask?

I don't really want to wait around for my hand to heal. What can you do for broken bones?

With a bone regenerator, I could fix them in less than a minute.

I'd be happy to meet with you today. Do you have any particular location you prefer? Library, CES, deck?

scarletweapon December 17 2010, 21:48:55 UTC
I do not know where the library is or what a CES is so I'll meet you on the deck.

[Makes her way to the deck.]

[Well, that was easy. The Doctor, too, makes his way to the deck to meet his inmate.]

Cara?

[At least the deck isn't bustling today. He lifts a finger in an "over here" gesture.]

Ah. Hello!

You kinda remind me of my medical staff when you say that.

It's my responsibility to see to the health of this crew, just like it's your medical staff's responsibility to see to your health.

...Isn't Leonard McCoy on your medical staff?

Yeah, he's my CMO.
