Doctor Faustus with Arthur Darvill

I had the luck to see the Opening Night of Doctor Faustus tonight with Arthur and wrote up a short review of it here. If you are in the London area, go see this show, it is so fantastic and Arthur is stunning in it. It's so different from what he's done with Doctor Who, it was quite fascinating to watch.

Also quite glad to stare at Arthur’s ass, even if I had no choice as he would not get out of my way and blocked my view for a good solid (lovely) 10 minutes.

Seriously though, I'm so glad you liked it! I've been sitting here with baited breath all evening hoping for good press to come out tomorrow and if your review is any indication to go by then it looks like reviews will be good. :) I've not read the play either but I usually enjoy live theatre of that sort so I'm quite envious of everyone who gets to go (aside from the obvious reason).

Now if only I lived in England! /alas

Haha, I was a bit annoyed because he was blocking my view, but he had on very intricate stockings, so I just gandered at them for a good while haha.

It's going to do well, it's a very good production, and the first time Faustus has been performed at The Globe. Performances are solid and the perfect balance of serious and humor. Arthur also gets to walk around with fire in his hand, it was a bit windy so I'm sure he got a little burned, eek.
