Re: the last image. I'd think this to be from the Gaiman episode. Amy has the reddish plaid plus jacket, and the background also fits.

It's not--both her shirt and jacket are too dark, and her hair is styled the same way as it is for part of the Utah episodes (for a lot of the series, actually). That background is weird, though, which is why I'm unsure about it.

This pretty much sums up my thoughts on the Silence creatures now that I know that they don't have mouths. And this is coming from someone who didn't watch X-Files back in the day.

I have to admit that I'm disappointed that the Silents do have eyes, way back in those craters-that-look-like-eye-sockets, but still. I will probably still be screaming like a little girl whenever they show up. I was ten years old when The X-Files premiered and (despite our parents initially saying they weren't going to let eclecticmuse and I watch it, precisely because we were ten years old) watched it religiously for the first couple of seasons. That, alongside shows like Unsolved Mysteries and Sightings, pretty much scarred me for life. :D

Going OT, but oh man- Unsolved Mysteries was awesome. Me and my mom used to watch it alot when it was on TV. I still remember the one about the Quiji Board.
