The BBC announced this morning that Karen is set to star in a BBC4 production called "We'll Take Manhattan", about 60s model Jean Shrimpton and her affair with photographer David Bailey.

What with this and Romeo & Brittney also supposedly starting to film in May--could be loose confirmation that Karen and Arthur are indeed leaving after Series 6?

Oh, this is awesome news in terms of casting. Karen is actually perfect to play the Shrimp, although I think she's prettier than Jean was. Wonder who will be playing her mentor/boyfriend, David Bailey...

Hopefully there will be time for her to do this AND do DW, just like there was time last year for Matt to do other projects.

OKAY I AM SO CONFLICTED HERE BECAUSE I LOVE AMY AND RORY DESPERATELY, but I would also be really interested to see Eleven with a brand new companion.

I won't think about it yet!
