About to rewatch. Confused by angel Bob as well. Yes, I thought Amy was a bit too clever there with the static thing.
Eyes. Several people have said something about eyes being a plot arch important thing. So much with the eyes and the images in Amy's eyes in like, every episode and idk what is up w that??!
Could the Church be the other problem?
I can't even get into the River speculation. Funny how everyone at brb_gallifrey HATES her and we all love her. Well, I am ambivalent. I don't necessarily think she's on the side of good and all.
Those shoes were fierce though. They should be in every episode.
2. How can a companion be "Too clever?" I like my companions clever, thank you very much. She saved herself. The Doctor won't always be able to do something. Meh. The Amy Pond complaints I've been seeing are so lame.
4. It's a bit of a mixture: Angel Bob is part of Bob's consciousness, so he's still very polite and respectful to the Doctor, however the Weeping Angel is speaking through his voice. So it can't just be all, "We're going to get you, you're going to DIE" because real Bob wasn't that...aggressive, I guess, personality wise. It was really weird and worked just as good as the whole "ghosting" thing from Silence in the Library.
AND WHAT I REALLY WANT TO TALK ABOUT IS RIVER SONG
We've gotten a few more little clues and hints but still so vagggguuuue. I'm almost 90% sure that she isn't his wife. We also learn that she's hiding who she is because if he finds out he won't help them, and that she doesn't want to go to jail again. So who is she?? Has she any connections to the Time Lords? GAAAH!!
2. I like Amy being clever. A companion who can save herself rather than going Oh noes! Doctor! I liked how she closed one eye at a time - v. smart. 3. I saw the angel in Amy's eyes too. I wonder if the way to stop the angels is to trap them in one person.
I want to know how much Bishop knows about the TARDIS, because obviously River told him, but how much? And River is totally the Heinrich Schliemann of space.
Especially since they seem to have "hired" River for whatever the mission is - we just know about the Byzantium crash and they want to find the Weeping Angel. I don't think it was ever actually stated what for, though.
Yeah, and I don't think the Byzantium was supposed to crash. :/
As far as I know, River got special permission to leave prison because she was the only one who could identify the Angel (with the help of the Doctor). So it looks like she's in the employ of the Clerics, which could potentially suck?
#2: Why do people have such an issue with the companions taking care of stuff? It's refreshing for a change, IMO.
In regards to Angel Bob and the dead men, why were the other guys not being used? The Doctor asked why the bodies were killed, unless there was a reason. I wonder if they're using the bodies and that will show up in the next ep?
I wanna know what's up with River. River said she was in prison. Was it the Pandorica? If it's not, prison seems to be a bit of a theme this season.
Umm, I'm not sure if this is true - might be my ears, but I thought both Angelo and Christian spoke when Bob was trying to contact them. Not sure which way round it was, but one spoke first, then Bob asked if the other was there, and that person said, "yes, now come and see." Or something along those lines.
Or maybe you're right and my ears need sorting out asap!

I love Amy, it just seems she figures things out in split seconds. Sometimes it works, this time I didn't think so is all.
