I'm thinking that it took me a while to warm up to this convention, because while the first few days were a bit flat, I'm kind of getting into it now.

I am glad that you're enjoying the second con in your constravaganza! That sounds like a bunch of interesting stuff has been happening, although the Head Person dying is far from ideal. Collaboration meaning both people do 2/3 the work is a great phrase, and sounds eerily accurate.

Did you hear about the clusterfuck about broadcasting the Hugo awards?

It HAS been interesting, and I've been doing lots, though not so much today.

I did see references to the droid clusterfuck, yes.
Not sure what the solution to that could be, other than the con doing the upstream itself, which sounds expensive. Either that or reigning in certain litigation-happy media groups, but we all know THAT'S not going to happen.
