So he was staying out of the way for a while, slouching on the tiny couch in the back room and playing with a plastic toy that spun and lit up somewhat engagingly.
When he heard Sam call his name, he wasn't sure whether to be wary or just thankful for the distraction from his boredom. "What?" he called, but semi-grudgingly pulled himself up and trudged into the main room of the store. "What's going on?"

"Oh and look at this," he continued, looking around him for a few moments before finding his copy of The Omnivore and handing it to Dean. "The new Disneyland Police Force-slash-Watch." He tapped the circled announcement with the pen. "What do you think?"

He slipped a little, though, when he saw the paper Sam had given him. "What the hell... Police force?" he repeated. "What do they think they're going to have to police?" The last thing they needed here were any pseudo-authority figures.

"I like the way it writes," he said somewhat defensively about the pen, and then nodded at Dean's second exclamation.
"Have you heard about the invisible police force?" he asked his brother. "Cayce said that a few times people have really tried to hurt each other, and each time they were picked up by an invisible force and thrown into fountains."
