I like it. Personally, I would prefer something like this over a video. I tend not to watch self-made videos. I have little patience and not a lot of time to watch vids, but pictures I can quickly read and scan through - especially when I do most of this during my work time. If I wasn't crappy at drawing, I just might be tempted to pick up a pencil, but I can barely draw stick figures, so I'll stick to other things.
Lovely work. I agree with the previous comment. I also prefer text and picture based posts to videos. Maybe it's about being able to absorb the material at my own pace. And, yes, it is tempting me to get my pencils out :)
That was fun, and very happy making! Your first pic, 'four dogs hiding in this paper 'made me perk right up, and then progression of drawings were wonderful! What fun! You are so talented! ♥
I love it! And I agree with others--videos have their place but can be really uncomfortable to make, and sometimes viewers might want to skip to the part they're most interested in, which, in a series of pics like this, they can do, and then jump right back to the top to view the rest. This is fun and lovely and your humor and Dizzoness shines through. :-D
Ah, thank you - I'm glad you liked it. I tried to keep it light and fun, this is supposed to be about how fun art is and how it can benefit you, not all about me!
My main comment would be that the captions are really hard to read - the white and red is ok when the font is large but where you've used the smaller ones I was straining - and if you animate this, it will be even harder to read them. Given the topic, making it accessible seems rather important. 😁
I think also for something like this, people might like to pause and look at the details - so what about making a little slide show in powerpoint? It's been ages since I used it, but can't you make slide shows that will play automatically like a little animation?
This was originally in powerpoint. A lady in work who is technically far cleverer than me has made it into a lovely video and she's lingered on the pages wit the smaller text long enough so that it's easier to read. Because in a video the pages come u bigger than the pictures I've posted it's much clearer!
