Here's Gadreel

Jan 18, 2015 16:58

I've had a nice free weekend, and so I decided to start doing a few more portraits to take a A14 and JIB in May.  Here's the first picture.  It's of Gadreel, I hope I can get Tahmoh to sign it!

Well, I can imagine worse ways to spent a weekend, Dizzo, m'dear.

So well done, honey; especially the colour of Gad's eyes... drown-worthy, I'd say!

P.S. And now, I think you should read this, my friend:

Thank you, hunny, I'm glad you like him.
Thank you for the warning about the false post. A couple of other people have brought this to my attention, so it appears I have been duped!

Sad that people have such empty lives that they feel the need to do this :(

Wow honey! I am in AWE!!! I know I can scribble out sparse line drawings but it's a whole other level of talent to be able to chalk in colour and this is amazingly accurate. Well done!

Thank you, I'm really glad you like them. It's funny, where you are so strong on the line drawing, that's actually the part I enjoy the least. Although it's important to get it right, I'm always glad when that part's done and then I can immerse myself in the colouring and shading for hours!

We're all creative in our own right, hun, your work is lovely!

Thank you * blushes* It's not that I don;t enjoy colour, so much as I think my personality lends itself to the clean lines, but when I get the urge, seeing a piece come together with shadowing and shading is lovely :)
