Stage One; Fini disables and tortures Lance. Finitevus' Lab in D'ango Forest.

Finitevus stood before the stairs that led to his lab. He had his plan, and it was time to enact it. He just had to wait for BlackV-mon to make his move.

BlackV-mon was across the room next to Draca.

"Um..Draca. Would you like to go on a walk with me" he asked, sheepishly.

Draca looked up, twisting slightly so she could see BlackV-mon. She was lying on her back, half curled, her paws in the air. "Mmr? Okay~" And she twisted again to roll to her feet, stretching.

Lance looked up from across the room, where he was cleaning his gun, but when Draca gave him a reassuring perked-up expression he dropped his eyes again, taking a breath and letting it out again. he trusted Draca could handle herself, and from what he'd seen of BlackV-mon the 'mon was genuinely fond of her. If it weren't for the fact that Finitevus was his tamer he would have been perfectly willing to trust him.

BlackV-mon motioned for Draca to follow him and walked outside. Once the two were away enough for Lance and the doctor to not hear them BlackV-mon spoke again.

"I want to show you something secret," he whispered to Draca.

Finitevus turned to Lance.

"I will be in my lab should you need me," he said and descended the stairs.

"Ouh." Draca perked up, fluttering wings. "A secret place?" She knew she shouldn't be getting too close to BlackV-mon. She knew that his master wasn't someone they could trust, and she knew that if ordered BlackV-mon would fight her. She was expecting it.

But she also knew that BlackV-mon was, at heart, someone she could be friends with. And for pokemon, you could be someone's absolute rival and still be friends.

"Alright," Lance answered Finitevus without looking up from his polishing. Although he had forced himself to be more ... relaxed ... around the doctor, more like he trusted him at least to some small extent, he still hadn't made any pretense about wanting to spend all his extra time around him.

Stage Two; Fini kidnaps Sara. Neon City Streets

Finitevus stood atop a low building with a smirk. He was waiting for his target to come by. Once he had learned her identity and her connection with Ritsu, he knew she would be valuable. She took walks in Neon on good weather, and always came to this establishment every time she did, the same establishment he stood upon, waiting for her.

Finitevus say the woman coming down the street. Once she was beneath him, he opened the Warp Ring beneath her and jumped off the building and through the ring as well, closing it behind him. He brought up a fist, covered in Digisoul, and hit the woman in the back of the head, rendering her unconscious. Once that was done, he put her halfway into a Warp Ring and closed it tight around her waist.

"Perfect," he said to himself.

Finitevus flipped open his D-Comm and dialed a connection for a video call to Ritsu's D-Comm. He would give her no time to cause any trouble. Not with what he had in store for her. She just had to pick up.

It was always a little strange when Teto visited. She was still in hiding, and he was technically still under house arrest, which meant that the only way his sister could even see him was by sneaking up to his window. On the third floor.

There certainly was an advantage to having wings, or so Teto claimed.

Right then they were simply sitting around chatting (Teto was teasing him, yet again, about Sara) when Ritsu's D-comm went off. He blinked at it curiously, not expecting anyone to call him.

"Hello?"

The video clicked on and there was the doctor's face. "Hello, my dear. It has been some time since our last talk, has it not? And before you disconnect the communication, I advise you don't, or these two might get hurt."

The camera panned over to Lance and Sara. Lance was strapped to a metal examination table where only Sara's top half could be seen, her bottom half vanishing into a Warp Ring, but she was clearly alive.

The camera went back to Finitevus' face. "If you wish for them to keep their lives, you will send me your current coordinance as well as tell me who else is with you. And I do advise you to not lie. Lying may cause Ms. Sidle her ability to walk. You have thirty seconds to comply."

Ritsu tensed noticeably, finger hovering over a button that would have connected him to Greg or Nick, but he stopped, scowling at the comm angrily. A glance back at Teto, and he turned video on, showing them both in view.

"Finally showing your true colors, Fini. Not that I'm surprised."

Finitevus watched the Warp Ring, waiting for Ritsu to step through. Everything was going according to plan, but this was the main act. He just needed it all to go as planned. And that counted on the other main stars to arrive.

Ristu stumbled a little upon exiting, Teto somewhere behind him. Warp Rings certainly weren't like light posts, and being irritated and not exactly thinking clearly didn't help much in making it a smooth ride.

Frowning in obvious anger, he scanned the area, eyes falling on Finitevus after a few seconds. He said nothing, though, knowing anything he did managed to say would probably just wind up getting him deeper and deeper in to what was already a very screwed up and bad situation.

Teto was oddly quiet as she stayed behind Ritsu. She was no better than Ritsu was with her anger; once her eyes set on Finitevus, all she could do was glare.

Her seal was flaring. She could feel it flaring. But she did what she could to suppress it, her face flinching a little as she held it back.

Oh, how she wanted so badly to attack that son of a bitch right now.

But if she did ... well, it wasn't going to end well. No, in order to make sure things went well, she had to control herself for now.

But damn, that was difficult.

"Welcome my dears, to my lab. I do hope the trip was a pleasant one." Finitevus put on a fake hospitable voice. It was the same one he had greeted Ritsu with that day in the coffee shop.

Stage Six: Endgame. D'ango Forest hot springs (Sara, Lance, Pidonus) Fini's lab (Ritsu, Teto, Fini)

Finitevus could see the two losing strength. Once Ritsu and Teto had had enough, he would set it all up for his finale. Those other two had escaped, but that wouldn't matter. He would be done before any reinforcements came.

At the springs...

Pidonus calmly looked outside. She was taking a short walk on her own, though staying very close to the springs area.

"She's almost better. Soon enough she'll be back at it... Why does that worry me so much?"

Lance had managed to get into a rhythm--balancing the unconscious Sara in his arms, Draca on his shoulders clinging to his hair, pushing away his pain and running--just running. Distantly he knew he was tearing up his feet, that the scrape and pressure of his shirt and Sara's body against the burns on his chest would only make them worse--but he had no time, there was no time to spare.

He knew if he fell he probably wouldn't be able to get up again. Not and carry everyone. He'd lost count of how many times he almost had. Sometimes he wasn't even sure he was going in the right direction to the building Draca had seen, too tired, too stuck in a world of--another step keep running gotta get help breathe--

And then he broke, suddenly, through the trees, and there was the building.

Pidonus visibly "eeped" at the sight of Lance - and at the highly obvious injuries.

"W-What the hell happened to you?!", she shouted in panic.
