He had been home, focusing most of his energy on symmetrifying the living room. Of course. It had become a rather normal thing to do, make sure everything's in proper order especially when it just feels like something's off.

Kid was certain his uneasiness wasn't because of the lack of symmetry. There was just a general unrest in Discedo; everyone was feeling it, and he could just tell in all the souls that his perception picked up. Nobody was comfortable. And things were growing cold. The others would need more blankets soon...

He was busy prepping the couch to move when he heard the knock. Were the others expecting company? Well, since he was the only one in the living room--the others seemed to clear out when he came to measure, how bizarre--he decided to get it.

And he couldn't help but smile at the sight in front of him. Hello there, girlfriendchan. Long time no see. "Hey, Angel." But that look on her face--and the fact that she practically breathed in this ominously depressing aura replaced the smile with a look of concern. He ( ... )

Nill was honestly surprised that it was Kid himself who appeared at the door, and the feeling showed. The sight of his smiling face made her blush, and she glanced shyly off to the side--before her manners got the better of her and she looked ahead again, dipping her head down in a small nod in greeting.

"...?" Then she saw those arms stretched out to her, and the winged girl looked into his face questionably. Oh... Please don't make that face, Kid. Not you.

She only reached out far enough to take his hands in hers, giving them a gentle squeeze. It helped, and a ghost of a smile had appeared before she tilted her head to one side like a confused puppy. May I come in?

As she took his hands, he smiled, tightening hold and pulling her a bit closer. He really did miss her, from that little side glance to when her cheeks lit up to--

Kid, stop it. Stop it right now.

He looked away, for a moment trying to blink out these thoughts of how beautiful and darling his angel was before just taking in her appearance. How sweet and precious and cute she was. Of course she could come in.

"Are you doing okay?"

Nill was pulled closer with little resistance. Though you'll have to excuse her, Kid. She is feeling a bit like a rag doll; unsure of what to do with herself at the moment.

She started to nod her head. She was well, not ill. There were no injuries to speak of. Not even a scratch. So who could complain? Even the cold feeling that draft hallway gave her was now receding, when she was this close to him. -- I mean... it was warm enough in her face right now. She could feel it.

When she could look him in the eyes again, her hands loosened up and she drew them up to gently touch his face. It was comforting, like it had been when the Darkness that frightened her before had disappeared, revealing Jackie's face. The touch and feel of his face made it real.

Her smile was bittersweet. You still can't help missing everyone else.
