Oh, Elle. This wrenched my heart, because she really was just repeatedly treated like Claire's doll, used and then tossed aside.

Yeah, when I read the prompt I couldn't help but think about the fact that toys are just used until you're tired of them, which seems like how Elle was treated pretty much her whole life. But I also thought she would have a mentality where even a little love was better than nothing. Sad :/

poor little elle! why they never explored more of elle past? :( How ironic is that she was forgotten and thrown away in the end...
