Sadies Hawkins!
Alright kids! Sadie Hawkins is upon us! *cue drama music*
It happens:
September 17th at 8pm PST
It works how the other big meet and greets around here have worked, I post up a log in the Log Comm, EEEVVEERRYBODDY COMMENTS.
Okay so there are a few things I wanna address OOCly before I do it in the main comm(I'll make another post in about a week).
Rules
For the most part the same as what I have already posted in the main comm:
- Guys cannot ask out girls. Anything else goes.
- No children under 14 may attend
- Any party crashing will be punished (DO IT I DARE YOU)
- NO HANK PANKY (asalways)
So I mentioned guys cannot ask out girls... does that mean guys can ask out guys?
Yes.
Girls can ask out girls?
Yes.
The tradition of Sadie's is for girls to ask out guys, but since we are not conservative city USA, I felt it would be best to expand that tradition to everyone!
YOU GOT A PROBLEM WITH IT, TAKE IT TO MUFASA.
(Mufasa accepts all types of love!)
Theme
So Uh, school dances have themes right? I need to figure one out for Sadies. Anyone got suggestions?
I will post them up here as we get more(hopefully)
Formal Wear
Yes. Formal wear.You can ANYTHING that is formal wear. Mulan could wear a Han dynasty outfit, or she could wear a modern evening gown. Sky's the limit as long as it's FORMAL!~
Little Kids Party
Since the younger kids aren't allowed to the dance, we will essentially have a "Little Kid's Party" held at a separate location. There will be ice cream, and cake and grumpy adults who have to watch them get sugar highs and stains EVERYWHERE.
...Maybe there will be a inflatable balloon castle. IDK it's been a long time since I was that young, wtf do kids enjoy again?
Staff Chaperone
There will be an announcement in the main comm in about a week. But MAKE IT BE KNOWN. Anyone who decides to opt out of chaperoning the big kids....gets to chaperone the little ones at their own party.
There will be ice cream and cake.
And little kids with sticky fingers ^_^
