I've done that with the pictures a few times, too. It's very irritating. It never happened with anything as big as this, though! Still, I think they look fine and they do the job, and the staging is very nice.
Great chapter! Always makes me happy to see something new from you. :) Ajay is a bit of a jerk, isn't he? I'm glad Johnny and Ophelia are back together, though. Also, Ripp pissing off Tank made me laugh. Poor Tank. And oooh, cliffhanger! :O
I almost, almost put together a little bit on what Mary Gavigan's been up to before I started taking story pictures. If only I had, I would have realized when I posted that. :(
Thank you! Ajay is... well, it's really hard to sit on a good story! The public has a right to know! Poor Tank, nothing ever goes his way.
I'm not bothered about picture quality if the story's good. And it is :)
I really like the way you're exploring the General's military role. He's always seemed a bit shifty, that one. And I love the idea of an alien cover-up, it's perfect for Strangetown. Good stuff!
Thank you, I'm glad you're liking it. I'm glad the Buzz isn't too far off. I have very little experience with the military, or anyone who is career military especially, so it's very foreign to me.
I love the different interactions between the teens, and for me the characterisation of Jenny and PT were fantastic.
My absolute favourite part of this chapter though was Crystal in the general's office, you portrayed the tension of the situation brilliantly and the General's response to finding her was just classic :)
I really want to work on giving Jenny and PT more screen time. They're fun.
I'm glad you liked that scene. It's definitely a genre I'm more unsure of myself on... but that did mean it got more editing. Crystal does have quite a decision to make now.
*Wants to backhand Ajay across the face* Argh! Not cool, but I guess he's just doing his 'job'. :(
Ah, Ripp. Always charming, that one. Poor Tank, it looked like he worked hard on that painting. The least she could have done would be a bit more apreciative. It's the thought that counts. :)
I love how calm the general is about catching her. That would scare/worry me more than someone yelling, tbh.
Thank you for reading and taking the time to comment!
Ajay... he's not malicious, he's just kind of an idiot. Insensitive to be sure though, and he will have so face some wrath in the near future.
Ripp is growing on me. At first I was really lost as to how to deal with the Grunts at all, or why they seemed to be a favorite of so many people. I've developed a tremendous soft spot for Tank though. I'm really fascinated lately by sims who are just not any good at their aspiration.
In the first draft he was yelling, Full Metal Jacket style. I didn't like it.
