Hi everyone!

I'm compiling a list of fics that include a wounded or (physically) hurt DI Lestrade from the BBC series Sherlock. I thought I'd share what I have thus far, in case anyone might be interested, and also ask for recs of any stories I've missed. Thanks!

Oh, that is a wonderful idea! Thank you! I like your categorisation of the owies.

And now I'm going to be horribly ungrateful and suggest that a note of the pairing, if any, for each story would be the cherry on the top. :)

I've also got a little working list of my favorite hurt!John fics. It's by no means exhaustive (there's so much out there, I know I haven't kept up with it all), but just my faves thus far, from what I've read. If you're interested in it, though, let me know, and I can post it here for you.

Awesome list! I'll be coming back here to check through and see if there are any I've missed, I love Lestrade owwies :)

I didn't see The Ultimate Violation of Self by elfbert in there - that's a good one. Lestrade interviews a young male victim of rape, which stirs up memories of his own. (Yes, that's a non-con warning).

Both of these are unfinished WIPs (I think they're abandoned! *cries*) but they're fills for a prompt for Lestrade being a victim of domestic violence.

I'm the author of the Keeping Secrets one. I don't want to say it's abandoned because I'd love to finish it, but I don't think I am in a place where I can right now. Writing it was partly a way of dealing with some personal issues in my life at that time, I'm not able to revisit that at the moment. I would like to be able to soon. I have more written than was posted, but I also found the characters getting more and more OOC because their actions were being dictated more by my experiences than by how they would really react, I hope to go back and tidy it up and maybe even be able to post it openly under my own name.

You're welcome. I was so surprised to see someone linking it, I thought after all this time people would have forgotten, that I wanted to let you know it wasn't completely dead and abandoned.

If I do update it I'll try to remember to come back here and let you know
