If you haven't already a great newsletter to join is 'Scrap Girls' (here is the link to see their latest letter: http://www.scrapgirls.com/NL/Chit_Chat_090224_Tues_Night.htm). Each day they have tips for photoshop and ideas for layouts and usually has a freebie download at the end.
cute stuff. there's a ton of tutorials out there for photoshop and other programs. on the community page there's a "tutorials" tag with links to sites. i like your work. and i love the shabby princess and the shabby shoppe. they have some of the most realistic looking graphics. have fun!
I love finding new tutorials so that will be perfect! Thanks!
Lol yes, I think I'm sold on the realistic looking stuff that looks like a traditional scrapbook page. I love seeing what people can do to manipulate photos and those are stunning, but I'll probably be the stick in the mud with very basic stuff! :)
Welcome to the wonderful world of digital scrapbooking. Like many of us, I also started out as a traditional scrapper. Marriage, work, school, and a fifteen month old boy have all worked together to make traditional scrapping a thing of the past for me.
I just don't have the time or the space to dig out all of my supplies and get set up any more! Plus, digital photographs have just spoiled me. I can't see going and getting my photos printed, just to slice them up and re-assemble. Setting everything up digitally allows me to print one for everybody, so in the long run, it's far cheaper.

Thank you! I think I'll still cling to my stuff, (because I have a whole room just for this so I don't have to worry about stowing it away again), but mostly because I have so much invested in it, lol! I can certainly see why its so popular for those very same reasons you mentioned! :)
