I want to write a baseball story. Something with two teenage boys kind of dating and keeping their kind of relationship a secret. The boy's names would be Tyler and Michael. Tyler would be the quiet passive person who plays on the baseball team because he loves the sport, and Michael would be the loud outgoing person who plays on the team because

Sounds like a good start for a story! I run a community called charloft that has a daily prompt for character development. You might want to check it out. Sometimes answering a prompt for a character can lead you to learning more about them, and your plot can develop from there.
