pinnards reminded me about how fortunate i am in terms of material wealth and i totally agree with her. But unbeknownst to her, i had been already had a couple of conversations with other Singaporean friends, trying to convince them that we are ALL posh. How do you know?
Do you or your parents have a:
- Maid
- Country club membership
- Drive a merc/lexus/BMW/big ass thing
- Travel overseas more than once a year by plane
- Own the property that you live in
So let us all count our blessings, and try and DO something about the inequalities of societies. All of us (who have access to the internet) ARE rich by absolute standards, and we can ALL do something about it. It's all about priorities.
